Jesus Clears the Temple

This Sunday was smaller as a few families were out for Fall Break, but God was moving just as much. And He wants to keep our temple clean, both our church and our lives. So remember:

1. Have the confidence to know that Jesus will fight for you. He will stand for your when no one else will. You’re going to have moments when you need that in your faith. Some of you have needed that recently because of your church. Jesus will always choose you.
2. Your faith shouldn’t be convenient. We live in a culture of convenience. But when you try to make your faith easy, you will miss it altogether. When you serve, serve where God has called you, or where you are most passionate, not the least time-consuming least demanding. Never take the easy way out in your faith. 
3. Don’t confuse your Christianity with materialism. God will not tolerate the unholy mixture of worldly things with spiritual. 
4. There is only one appropriate response to Jesus, to believe and worship Him with the temple of your life and body.

It continues to seem as though every week, we are moving forward and have more and more going on as God continues to grow Torch into the church He wants us to be. This week was no different. I encourage you to listen to the message on the podcast (upper left). Through it all, God was powerfully moving on Sunday. And we were honored to be the witness of His Holy presence.
