Torch Community Church

The results from our very first Sunday is in...and it's historic!! There were 35 of us that squeezed into the confines of my home for a pot-luck breakfast and a time of prayer, Scripture, worship, story-telling (a personal testimony), and a message. What I feel was most significant about the entire experience, however, was the Spirit and energy we experienced!! It felt good, refreshing. And I know that at least for me, I sensed God in a positive moving way that I often don't receive in a regular mundane church service. God is moving, and may we never stop changing and moving with Him!!

And through whatever, may we be able to simply love out of a pure heart, good conscience, and sincere faith because as a individuals who have experienced salvation, we have the hope of Christ IN us. My prayer is that when we join together as a community, Christ will be IN our church as well.

I am praying for you now as you are carrying the torch of salvation into your mission field and I hope to see you next week.
